报告内容:

Landscape and ecosystem are key factors determining hydrological behaviour. The landscape has developed on the underlying geology through millenia of interaction with the atmosphere and the hydrological system. As a result, the landscape characterises hydrological behaviour such as the dominant runoff mechanisms, groundwater flow, erosion and mineral composition of runoff. At a shorter time scale, the ecosystem has evolved to make optimum use of the landscape and atmospheric and hydrological conditions. Water being the key component of the living biosphere, the ecosystem actively manages its hydrological conditions and holds the key to hydrological properties such as infiltration, evaporation, root zone water storage, and sub-surface runoff.
